SUSTAINABLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SMART CLOTHING
General Objective
The SEiSC project’s main objective is to increase VET institutions’ capacity to teach students sustainable entrepreneurial mindsets through virtual simulations and AI to enhance their employability and career development.
The creation of networks between VET institutions and organisations working in sustainable fashion and smart clothing aims to enhance the project’s implementation through a trans-sectoral approach concretised in realistic simulation scenarios.
The adaptive teaching approach, supported by Artificial Intelligence algorithms that constitute simulation logic, is designed to help teachers increase their practical teaching skills through digitalisation, Design Thinking, Game-based learning, inquiry-based teaching, Active Learning Methodologies (e.g., Simulation-based), and systems thinking.
Project's results
- Reports regarding innovative strategies and approaches for imparting sustainable entrepreneurship mindsets to students, as well as the establishment of networks between Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions and organisations specialising in sustainable fashion and intelligent clothing, are of paramount significance.
- Students’ videos.
- Virtual simulation scenarios/algorithms.
- MOOC curriculum and contents; virtual simulation with AI.
- The “Adaptive Teacher’s Guide to teach sustainable entrepreneurship to students”.
- Virtual Community of Practices.
- Training Activity and National Conferences outputs.

Benefits
- Enhancement of Teaching: teachers acquire advanced teaching skills through the AI-supported adaptive teaching approach, improving the overall quality of teaching.
- Development of Practical Skills: teachers and students experience improved practical skills through realistic virtual simulations, contributing to more focused and applicable training in the real context.
- Increased Employability: students acquire a sustainable entrepreneurial mindset, improving their employment prospects and ability to adapt to the needs of the labour market.

Specific Objectives
- To effectively manage the project, dealing with deadlines and compliance with quality standards.
- To identify at least 12 best practices or strategies (2/country) in VET institutions concerning teaching a sustainable entrepreneurial mindset to students through virtual simulation and existing collaborations between VET institutions and sustainable fashion clothing organisations (Active Learning Methodologies).
- To develop branched learning scenarios on sustainable and smart clothing business environments to be integrated into the virtual simulation through the AI algorithms according to a learning path that achieves the identified learning objectives in the Framework of Competences for students.
- To develop a training programme for teachers as “Sustainable Adaptive Teachers” and to certify at least 60 VET teachers as effective Adaptive Teachers, able to prepare students with a sustainable entrepreneurial mindset through virtual simulation with Artificial Intelligence, Active Learning Methodologies and an Inquiry-based approach.
- To create a virtual simulation platform that allows students to acquire a sustainable entrepreneurial mindset, integrating the branched learning scenarios on sustainable and smart clothing business environments through supervised AI algorithms and to provide teachers with a guide according to an adaptive teaching approach.
- To disseminate the project’s activities, progress, and results to stakeholders, allowing the project to have a practical impact on the project’s stakeholders and ensuring the sustainability of the Virtual Community of Practice after the project’s closure.
